The best strip clubs in Medellín are in El Poblado, and two names come up in every honest guide to the city: Fase II and La Isla. Beyond those, Medellín has more than a dozen adult venues of very uneven quality. They open around 9 p.m., run until 3–4 a.m., charge a cover plus a table minimum, and — this trips up nearly every first-timer — they do not work the way American strip clubs do. Bring cash in pesos and, on weekends, book ahead.

How do strip clubs in Medellín actually work?

Read this before you go — it prevents most misunderstandings:

• The show is on stage. Dancers perform a couple of songs on stage and then move table to table. Tips are handed over directly; nobody throws bills in the air.
• There's a cover. Roughly COP 30,000–100,000 per person (about US$8–28), depending on the venue and the night.
• There's always a table minimum. You reserve a table with a minimum spend; it's not a free-entry bar.
• Drinks are pricey and sometimes watered down. If a hostess orders rounds, the tab climbs fast. Ask for the menu and keep the bill itemized and in view.
• Bring Colombian pesos in cash. Exchange rates inside these venues are poor and card handling is inconsistent.

How much does a strip club cost in Medellín?

It depends on the venue, the night and the size of your group. As a general market reference for 2026:

• Entrance cover: COP 30,000–100,000 per person (about US$8–28).
• Table minimum: variable, and higher in VIP and on weekends.
• Bottle for the table: from around COP 250,000 for domestic spirits; imported costs more.
• Premium VIP suite: from around COP 1,000,000, and only at the largest venues.

The best strip clubs in Medellín

Fase II — the El Poblado benchmark. Cra. 44 #30-27, behind the Premium Plaza mall. One of the two names guides cite consistently among the city's best, with more than 20 years at the same address, live stage shows and pole dance all night, VIP tables for groups of 4 to 30, a hookah lounge and a premium bar. La Isla — the largest, tourist-oriented venue. In the Parque Lleras area of El Poblado, La Isla is the city's other constant reference: a large multi-level venue with 50+ dancers and a scene built around international visitors and high-spend VIP experiences. If sheer scale and production are your priority, it's the alternative most often named alongside Fase II.

Other options by zone. Beyond El Poblado, the Laureles area (La 70 and La 33) has more local venues with less tourist markup and lower prices, at the cost of an Uber ride from Poblado. Your call comes down to convenience and a premium room (El Poblado) versus price and a more local feel (Laureles). El Poblado vs Laureles: which zone?

Medellín strip clubs cluster in two zones, and the trade-off between them is real:

• El Poblado (Parque Lleras / Provenza): the highest concentration of premium, tourist-oriented venues, abundant ride-hailing, English-speaking staff. Pricier, easier, safer if you don't know the city. Club Fase II is here.
• Laureles (La 70 / La 33): more local and cheaper, a mostly Colombian crowd, a ride away. Good value once you move around the city with ease.

For most visitors and groups, starting in El Poblado is the practical call: everything is close and the late-night trip home is safer.

Staying safe

Medellín is safe for visitors who take specific precautions. In the adult-nightlife context the real risk isn't street robbery — it's drink spiking, usually with scopolamine (locally burundanga), almost always after a drink or an invitation from someone met that same night.

• Never leave your drink unattended; don't accept drinks from strangers.
• Order bottle service so the bottle stays at your table, or watch drinks poured at the bar.
• Be wary of invitations to a second location or a private after-party.
• Use Uber, DiDi or InDriver; don't hail cars off the street. Carry ID — venues are 18+ and check.
